Welcome

During your Christmas 2011 visit to Highland L Christmas Tree Farm, you can now take a stroll on our nature trail introduced last year. You will make your way over a hand-made rustic bridge, hike an upward trail and continue through a beautiful forest floor covered with ferns and moss under the umbrella of stands of hundred-year-old Douglas fir. The final destination will leave you in awe!

As in the past, visitors may also take a relaxing walk through the various plantings of fir and enjoy the fresh air and a fragrance that is out of this world. In past years, there have been reported sightings of owl, rabbit, deer and a variety of other birds.

In appreciation of folk who choose Highland L Tree Farm, we offer hot chocolate, hot apple cider and cookies from December 1 to 24, 2011. On weekends, you can warm up around our bonfire and enjoy a hotdog by donation with all proceeds going to BC Hospitals. Weather permitting on weekends; you can snuggle up with your family on a hayride around the farm.

Green! Green! Our Christmas trees provide many benefits to the environment. Not only do they produce oxygen, they also help to absorb unwanted pollutants in the air, particularly carbon dioxide. As well, real Christmas trees help to stabilize the soil reducing land erosion and provide a refuge for wildlife. Many visitors tell us that our true firs emit a wonderful fragrance and are aesthetically pleasing to the eye all year round!

Highland L Christmas Tree Farm is a proud supporter of British Columbia Children’s Hospital and Chilliwack General Hospital.
